Description:

The Zen Message Queue is a simple way to manage communications between components in a large scale system. It allows you to build loosely coupled systems, and keep front-end servers focused on immediate task at hand. It is built to be fast, fault-tolerant, and ridiculously easy to manage.

This component mirrors many of the features of complicated queueing systems, like JMS or MSMQ. The primary difference is that it works without any additional dependencies, using the CFML engine and database that you already have installed.

The current version of the Zen Message Queue was built for Railo 3.2 and SQL Server, but should only require minor tweaks to run in other environments.

Requirements:

Railo 3.2+ (Adobe ColdFusion compatibility to be verified)
SQL Server 2000+
